In order to empower our children and the next generation, we must first empower our teachers. Creative Calling is a humble offering to get a conversation started around creativity in schools, to give hard-working under appreciated teachers some another resource as they try to get kids to embrace their creativity. It’s my goal to put this book in the hands of thousands of public school teachers.
Why Creativity?
We’re all aware that art and creativity are some of the first things to be cut from school budgets. The problem is, this thinking is out of date. Creativity is the human super power that can transform anything and add meaning to everything.
Art is critical to life but creativity is more than just art. Creativity underpins the solution to every problem we will ever face and it’s through creating in small ways every day that we realize we can create the world in which we want to live.
